We understand that each claim is distinctive and requires adept action to ensure its proper management. We recognize that we are often the first physical interaction between Carrier and Insured/Claimant in the claims process and take pride in positively and professionally beginning that interaction. Carriers and their Policy Holders alike can be confident in our commitment to accurately relay loss details with timely and unbiased estimates and claims reporting.
Contact and Acknowledgement:
Contact will be made with all parties within 24 hours of assignment. If contact has not been successfully made within 24 hours, a contact letter will be mailed to the relevant party requesting they contact us for inspection.
Inspection:
It is our goal to have all inspections completed within 72 hours of assignment. We understand that coordinating an inspection can be especially difficult for working insureds, Delmarva Adjustment pledges to make every effort to complete inspection when insureds are available even if it falls outside of normal business hours.
Reporting:
Formal first report are to be expected within 7 days of assignment and no later than 5 days post inspection. Formal reports every 14 days thereafter unless otherwise advised.
Reserve Recommendations:
Reserves will be made to the client upon leaving loss-site for large losses otherwise recommendations to be made during first reporting.
